MiRNA-Based Therapies in Pulmonary Hypertension
Pulmonary hypertension involves a continuous remodeling of the pulmonary vasculature, that is similar to cancer in some aspects due to the uncontrolled proliferation of certain cells. This leads to muscularization of pulmonary vessels, development of vascular lesions, continuous vasoconstriction, and final heart failure. Current pharmacological therapies only target three molecular pathways and as a result, patients can only improve their life quality but not without suffering adverse side effects. This fatal lung disease lacks effective treatments. Therefore, there are compelling reasons to find new molecular targets and novel therapies that reverse the development of the disease. In this context, miRNA-based therapies have shown promising results that will provided in the following text while explaining the important role that had played their nanoencapsulation.

Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) was first identified back in the fifties by two groups, Festenstein et al. (1955) and Crane et al. (1957). This results in indole becoming protonated at the C-3 position, which is thermodynamically more stable.Indole alkaloids have gained popularity due to their diverse pharmacological activities. Indole alkaloids have been identified in several prominent plant families, including Apocynaceae, Rubiaceae, Nyssaceae, and Loganiaceae, among others. Some of the identified indole alkaloid compounds have been highly effective in pre-clinical and clinical studies. Thousands of compounds containing the indole nucleus have been isolated from plant sources. Their pharmacological activities were assessed, with some now being examined in clinical trials and some already approved for therapeutic use in humans. Indole alkaloids are often characterized by their potent biological activities, which are relevant to the field of medicine, including anticancer, antibacterial, antiviral, antimalarial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antidepressant, analgesic, hypotensive, anticholinesterase, antiplatelet, antidiarrheal, spasmolytic, antileishmanial, lipid-lowering, antimycobacterial, and antidiabetic activities.

Adversarial Machine Learning Attacks against Intrusion Detection Systems
Concerns about cybersecurity and attack methods have risen in the information age. Many techniques are used to detect or deter attacks, such as intrusion detection systems (IDSs), that help achieve security goals, such as detecting malicious attacks before they enter the system and classifying them as malicious activities. However, the IDS approaches have shortcomings in misclassifying novel attacks or adapting to emerging environments, affecting their accuracy and increasing false alarms. To solve this problem, researchers have recommended using machine learning approaches as engines for IDSs to increase their efficacy. Machine-learning techniques are supposed to automatically detect the main distinctions between normal and malicious data, even novel attacks, with high accuracy. However, carefully designed adversarial input perturbations during the training or testing phases can significantly affect their predictions and classifications. Adversarial machine learning (AML) poses many cybersecurity threats in numerous sectors that use machine-learning-based classification systems, such as deceiving IDS to misclassify network packets.
