Biography:
Federico Del Giorgio Solfa is Professor of Project Management at the Faculty of Arts, National University of La Plata (UNLP), and a Researcher at the Commission for Scientific Research of the Province of Buenos Aires (CIC-PBA), Argentina. Trained as an industrial designer, he holds a PhD in Arts (Design), a Master’s in International Marketing, a Master’s in EU Law, Economy and Politics, and a Specialization in Public Management. His research focuses on industrial and strategic design, design management, innovation and entrepreneurship, local and regional development, industrial districts and heritage, and science–technology–innovation policy, including the role of AI and digital technologies in production and design. He has led funded research projects, supervised master’s and PhD theses, and published articles, book chapters and conference papers in national and international outlets, while serving as reviewer and advisor in academic and professional networks.

His research focuses on industrial and strategic design, design management, innovation and entrepreneurship, local and regional development, industrial districts and heritage, and science–technology–innovation policy, including the role of AI and digital technologies in production and design.
