Ethanol Intoxication Sensing Technologies and Techniques
Ranging from casual drinking or as a part of celebration to more extreme binge drinking or alcohol dependence/alcoholism, often referred to as alcohol use disorder (AUD), alcohol consumption has also been associated with the development of several types of cancer. The field of alcohol intoxication sensing is over 100 years old, spanning the fields of medicine, chemistry, and computer science, aiming to produce the most effective and accurate methods of quantifying intoxication levels.

Ethanol Production in Brazil
Ethanol production in Brazil started in the early 1930s due to laws created by the Brazilian government. However, ethanol production only increased significantly with the National Program of Ethanol implementation in 1975. This program was another action taken by the Brazilian government aiming to provide conditions for the development of the ethanol industry in the country. With the program, it was possible to achieve significant progress; however, it finished in the mid-1980s. Ethanol is produced on a large scale by more than 300 sugarcane mills all over the country. In 2016, the Brazilian government provided another incentive for ethanol production by creating the RenovaBio Program, which aimed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Besides the environmental aspect, Brazil's ethanol industry needs to develop to supply the future biofuel demand. According to the forecast and considering technical, economic, and environmental aspects regards the Brazilian ethanol industry, the current and only feedstock used has an excellent chance not to achieve necessary. Thus, the ethanol produced from corn by some facilities in the country would be an attractive secondary feedstock to complement sugarcane ethanol, the primary feedstock.

Ethernet Frame Format
Ethernet is a widely used networking technology that finds its application in local area networks (LANs), metropolitan area networks (MANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other fields, such as industry, avionics, telecommunication, and multimedia. The Ethernet technology was introduced in 1980, and the first standardization was conducted in 1983 by IEEE 802.3.

Ethical Dilemmas in Emerging Technologies
Emerging technologies have featured prominently in the research on technology ethics, which is progressively concentrating on early-stage intervention in technological innovation. Techno Ethics (TE) serves as a multidisciplinary research field that incorporates theories and techniques from various domains including communications systems, sociology, innovation, ethical theories, and principles. Cybercrime is an umbrella term for all illicit activities made possible by access to an IT infrastructure including unauthorized access, unlawful data comparison interception, system disruption, digital identity fraud, etc. The goal of cybersecurity (counterpart to cybercrime) is to assist people in mitigating risks in their systems, networks, and data, ensuring security and privacy. To secure cyberspace, formal and informal resources, including equipment, people, infrastructure, services, policies, training, and technologies are used. As more firms post details to demonstrate their public commitment to ethical ideals while promoting security, discussions regarding ethical standards for emerging technologies are becoming more common.

EU Road Transport Carbon Emissions
To accomplish the 1.5 °C and 2 °C climate change targets, the European Union (EU) has set up several policy initiatives. Within the EU, the carbon emissions of the road transport sector from the consumption of diesel and gasoline are constantly rising. (1) Background: due to road transport policies, diesel and gasoline use within the EU is increasing the amount of carbon in the atmosphere and adding to climate risks. (2) Methods: sustainability analysis used was based on the method recommended by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. (3) Results: to meet its road transport requirements, the EU produces an estimated 0.237–0.245 billion tonnes of carbon per year from its total consumption of diesel and gasoline. (4) Conclusion: if there is no significant reduction in diesel and gasoline carbon emissions, there is a real risk that the EU’s carbon budget commitment could lapse and that climate change targets will not be met. Sustainability analysis of energy consumption in road transport sector shows the optimum solution is the direct electrification of road transport.

Euclidean Graphs as Curvilinear Feature Descriptors
Euclidean graphs are an ideal data structure for the functional description of line-shaped features in digital images such as cracks as they convey both geometrical and topological information about the object path in a compact and integrated format, enabling the development of autonomous, highly tuned algorithms for identification, selection, analysis, comparison and archiving of the identified objects.

Europa Lander (NASA)
The Europa Lander is a proposed astrobiology mission concept by NASA to Europa, an icy moon of Jupiter. If funded and developed as a Flagship mission, it would be launched in 2025 to complement the studies by the Europa Clipper orbiter mission and perform analyses on site. The objectives of the mission are to search for biosignatures at the subsurface ≈10 cm, to characterize the composition of non-ice near-subsurface material, and determine the proximity of liquid water and recently erupted material near the lander's location.

European Air Pollution Restrictions on Internal Combustion Engines
European Union (EU) legislators have laid out limits for emissions to air, grouping combustion engines by application, and then by power, displacement, engine type (spark ignited (SI) or compression-ignition (CI)), operating conditions and site, as well as the type of fuel used. The basic groups are cars and light trucks, heavy-duty truck and bus engines, and non-road engines. The regulations concerning road vehicles are more stringent than those for engines used in non-road machinery. EU law is considerably more liberal for small engine non-road equipment, which is defined as featuring engines below 56 kW. Some of the main reasons for this include the size and weight of those engines.
