Video Introduction

This video is adapted from: https://www.youtube.com/embed/0ohwxtsLLaM

In this video I will describe how the world formally came to know of the existence of atoms through John Dalton’s atomic theory of matter, what atoms are composed of (i.e., protons, neutrons, and electrons), and how these subatomic particles are organized into atomic masses and atomic numbers on the periodic table. I will also be discussing the strong nuclear force, it’s role in the existence of special isotopes, the process and affects of radioactivity, and the incredible contributions to the study of these concepts by the brilliant physicist Marie Curie.
