In this lecture I explain the concept of intermolecular forces and discuss how these forces impact our everyday lives. More specifically, I focus on the Van der Waals forces which include dipole-dipole interactions, London dispersion forces, and hydrogen bonding. Included in this video are concepts such as induced dipoles, instantaneous dipoles, polarizability, network solids, and allotropes (namely Graphene).
