Video Introduction

This video is adapted from 10.3390/e25081117

Quantum contextuality attracted a lot of attention recently. It precludes classically predetermined values from being assigned to quantum states and that enables its application in quantum communication, quantum computation, quantum steering, etc.

The best-known contextual sets are the Kochen-Specker sets. The conditions that define them can be relaxed and that leads us to contextual sets which we call non-Kochen-Specker sets.

In the video, researchers give pedestrian explanations of conditions that define each of these two kinds of sets in a relaxed oyster approach.
