Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Artificial Intelligence
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) has a global prevalence of around 4.1% and is associated with a low quality of life and increased healthcare costs. Current guidelines recommend that IBS is diagnosed using the symptom-based Rome IV criteria. Despite this, when patients seek medical attention, they are usually over-investigated. This issue might be resolved by novel technologies in medicine, such as the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Avatar Authentication
Anonymity forms the basis of decentralized ecosystems, leading to an increase in criminal activities such as money laundering and illegal currency trading. Especially in blockchain-based metaverse services, activities such as preventing sexual crimes and verifying the identity of adults are becoming essential. Therefore, avatar authentication and the KYC (Know Your Customer) process have become crucial elements.

Artificial Intelligence in the Diagnosis of Dairy Cows
With the rapid growth of computational power and data transfer capabilities, machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) are also making inroads into animal husbandry and veterinarian research. In particular, Infrared thermography (IRT) is being increasingly used for health monitoring and the diagnosis of dairy cows, especially in studies related to heat stress, which causes severe losses, helping us analyze its effects on nutrition, milk production, reproduction, etc. There is plenty of evidence for the potential benefits of using IRT for monitoring udder health status in dairy cows and for the early detection of mastitis. Its role in detecting hoof lesions and lameness has also been reported. The growth of the population and the increase of quality standards has set a requirement for the production of more and better quality food. The capabilities and potential benefits of IRT make systems for the automatic collection and processing of thermographic information and decision-making particularly important.

ChatGPT in Teaching Practice
The emergence of new tools, especially those based on AI, raises concerns that technology may replace the teacher in the classroom. ChatGPT can support and automate the activities of educators, but their role as mentors who provide guidance and more profound assessment of learner abilities and role models cannot be entirely replaced by technology. ChatGPT, a generative artificial intelligence (GAI) representative, can create quizzes and assignments that are automatically checked and graded, generate feedback, and provide personalized learning content depending on the learners’ results.

Challenge of  UAV-Based Vehicle Re-Identification
Vehicle re-identification research under surveillance cameras has yielded impressive results. However, the challenge of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-based vehicle re-identification (ReID) presents a high degree of flexibility, mainly due to complicated shooting angles, occlusions, low discrimination of top–down features, and significant changes in vehicle scales.

Keystroke Dynamics in Personal Characteristics Protection
The rapid development of information and communication technologies and the widespread use of the Internet has made it imperative to implement advanced user authentication methods based on the analysis of behavioural biometric data. In contrast to traditional authentication techniques, such as the simple use of passwords, these new methods face the challenge of authenticating users at more complex levels, even after the initial verification. This is particularly important as it helps to address risks such as the possibility of forgery and the disclosure of personal information to unauthorised individuals. Users can be categorised using keystroke dynamics, in terms of the age group they belong to and in terms of their educational level, with high accuracy rates, which is a strong indication for the creation of applications to enhance user security and facilitate their use of Internet services.

Digital Twins
Digital Twins, which are virtual representations of physical systems mirroring their behavior, enable real-time monitoring, analysis, and optimization. Understanding and identifying the temporal dependencies included in the multivariate time series data that characterize the behavior of the system are crucial for improving the effectiveness of Digital Twins. Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks have been used to represent complex temporal dependencies and identify long-term links in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).
