Translational Formulation Technologies for Cancer-Therapy
Over the past few decades, the field of cancer therapy has seen a significant change in the way in which formulations are designed and developed, resulting in more efficient products that allow us to ultimately achieve improved drug bioavailability, efficacy, and safety. However, although many formulations have entered the market, many others have fallen by the wayside leaving the scientific community with several lessons to learn.

Translating Nanobiotechnology in Medical Theranostics
Nanotheranostic is a word we use a bit more than a decade ago to define namaterials with potential or confirmed use as therapeutic and/or diagnostic agents. Here, we strived to define the properties characteristics and of most commonly used nanomaterials that have been proved or could be apply for a wide range of biomedical and pharmaceutical applications (e.g. biosensing, drug delivery, imaging).

Transition-Metal-Catalyzed Carboxylation
Carbon dioxide is ideal for carboxylation reactions as a renewable and sustainable C1 feedstock and has significant recognition owing to its low cost, non-toxicity, and high abundance. To depreciate the environmental concentration of CO2, which causes the greenhouse gas effect, developing new catalytic protocols for organic synthesis in CO2 utilization is of great importance.

Transition Metal Phosphide Based Seawater Electrolysis
Large-scale hydrogen (H2) production is an essential gear in the future bioeconomy. Hydrogen production through electrocatalytic seawater splitting is a crucial technique and has gained considerable attention. The direct seawater electrolysis technique has been designed to use seawater in place of highly purified water, which is essential for electrolysis, since seawater is widely available.

Transition Metal Oxide Electrode Materials
The rising use of nonrenewable fossil fuels in recent decades has put human existence in grave danger. As a result, it is imperative to design environmentally friendly and cost-effective energy storage devices. Supercapacitors are a promising energy device because of their high power density, outstanding cycle stability, and quick charge/discharge process. However, supercapacitors' energy density is still lower than that of conventional batteries'. Supercapacitors' electrochemical performance is heavily influenced by the electrode materials, as is well-known to everyone.

Transition Metal Dichalcogenides in Photocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution
Transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) is an emerging class of two-dimensional (2-D) materials that have exhibited great potential in photocatalytic applications owing to their intrinsic properties. They are normally used as cocatalysts together with other semiconductor materials and the junction created between them facilitates charge transfer of the photogenerated electrons and holes. The photocatalytic H2-evolution systems can be enhanced by lengthening the parts of uncovered surface of photocatalyst and delaying the recombination of electron-hole pairs.

Transition Metal Dichalcogenides for Electrochemical Biomolecular Detection
Advances in the field of nanobiotechnology are largely due to discoveries in the field of materials. Recent developments in the field of electrochemical biosensors based on transition metal nanomaterials as transducer elements have been beneficial as they possess various functionalities that increase surface area and provide well-defined active sites to accommodate elements for rapid detection of biomolecules. In recent years, transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) have become the focus of interest in various applications due to their considerable physical, chemical, electronic, and optical properties.

Transition Metal Dichalcogenides
In recent years, the material characteristics and properties of transition metal dichalcogenide (TMDCs) have gained research interest in various fields, such as electronics, catalytic, energy storage. In particular, many researchers have been focusing on the applications of TMDCs in dealing with environmental pollution. TMDCs provide a unique opportunity to develop higher-value applications related to environmental matters. This work highlights the applications of TMDCs contributing to pollution reduction in (i) gas sensing technology, (ii) gas adsorption and removal, (iii) wastewater treatment, (iv) fuel cleaning, and (v) carbon dioxide valorisation and conversion. Overall, the applications of TMDCs have successfully demonstrated the advantages of contributing to environmental conversation due to their special properties. The challenges and bottlenecks of implementing TMDCs in the actual industry are also highlighted. More efforts need to be devoted to overcoming the hurdles to maximize the potential of TMDCs implementation in the industry.

Transition Metal Anchored on Nitrogen-Doped Porous Carbon Catalysts
The design and preparation of novel, high-efficiency, and low-cost heterogeneous catalysts are important topics in academic and industry research. In the past, inorganic materials, metal oxide, and carbon materials were used as supports for the development of heterogeneous catalysts due to their excellent properties, such as high specific surface areas and tunable porous structures. However, the properties of traditional pristine carbon materials cannot keep up with the sustained growth and requirements of industry and scientific research, since the introduction of nitrogen atoms into carbon materials may significantly enhance a variety of their physicochemical characteristics, which gradually become appropriate support for synthesizing supported transition metal catalysts. The doping of nitrogen atoms improves the physicochemical properties of carbon materials with high specific surface area, abundant porous structure, nitrogen-containing groups, and defect sites, which are the ideal support for the preparation of transition metal heterogeneous catalysts.
