Height Estimation with Aerial Images
Height estimation is a key component of 3D scene understanding and has long held a significant position in the domains of remote sensing and computer vision. Initial research predominantly focused on stereo or multi-view image matching. With the advent of large-scale depth datasets, research focus has shifted. The effort is centered on estimating distance information from monocular 2D images using supervised learning. Monocular height estimation approaches can be generally categorized into three types: methodologies based on handcrafted features, methodologies utilizing convolutional neural networks (CNN), and methodologies based on attention mechanisms.

Design of Supply Chain in Perishable Products
A perishable product (PP) is defined as one that, by natural consequence, deteriorates in terms of its quality and/or organoleptic properties. The design of supply chains for products of all kinds is a classic problem of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering as well as Cold Technology Engineering in order to provide the producer and customer with the optimal means for the manufacturing, packaging, loading, transport and download of the product with time windows.

Using Pyrolysis to Create Biochar
Pyrolysis is a combustion process of woody biomass conducted under low or no oxygen conditions. It converts any kind of biomass into biochar, bio-oil, or biogas. Hence plants’ woody material can also be converted into bioenergy products. Valorization of woody biomass in the form of energy-rich compound biochar is a more sustainable technique as compared to conventional burning which leads to toxicity to the environment. Innovations and the need to limit open burning have resulted in numerous mobile and fixed plant pyrolysis methods that burn a variety of woody residues.

Adopting Energy Policies of BRICS for South Africa
At its inception in 2006, there were four BRIC member countries comprising Brazil, Russia, India and China. In 2010, South Africa was invited to become a member of BRIC, which then evolved into BRICS, forming a new alliance of these five member countries. South Africa joined in December 2010 to promote peace, security, economic development and cooperation amongst these countries. The main objective was to contribute significantly to improving the socio-economic landscape of these five member countries, which have over three billion people. This is approximately 40% of the global population, and they account for approximately 25% of the world’s gross domestic product (GDP).

Groundwater Depletion and Degradation in North China Plain
Groundwater is an important natural resource in the North China Plain (NCP) with high economic benefits and social significance. It fulfills 60% of drinking and 70% of irrigation water requirements. Groundwater becomes unsafe for human consumption due to pollution caused by inappropriate waste disposal, industrial discharges, and agricultural runoff.

概率时间地理建模
The possibility of moving objects accessing different types of points of interest (POI) at specific time is not always the same, so quantitative time geography research needs to consider the actual POI semantic information, including POI attributes and time information.

Biofortification
Biofortification is the process of increasing the number of vitamins and minerals in a crop; it can be carried out via agronomic techniques, transgenic technology, or plant breeding. The most practical and sustainable method for addressing the nutritional issue is biofortification, which involves enhancing the nutrients in common foods. This method is likely to reach rural residents who have limited access to a range of dietary options or other micronutrient therapies by the use of biofortified crops.

Roles, Formation Processes and Investigation Methods of Rhizosheath
The rhizosheath, defined as the complex of root hair, exudates and soil that strongly adheres to plant roots, is a promising root adaptive trait in facing conditions of water and nutrient deficits, as well as acidic soil. Several beneficial ecological functions are attributed to the rhizosheath, such as enhancing water and nutrient uptake; protecting from dehydration, heat and acid stresses; and stimulating microbial activities. It has been described in several Angiosperm species, including crops grown in severe habitats.
