GPU Performance in Virtualized Environments
The graphics processing unit (GPU) plays a crucial role in boosting application performance and enhancing computational tasks. Thanks to its parallel architecture and energy efficiency, the GPU has become essential in many computing scenarios. On the other hand, the advent of GPU virtualization has been a significant breakthrough, as it provides scalable and adaptable GPU resources for virtual machines. However, this technology faces challenges in debugging and analyzing the performance of GPU-accelerated applications. Most current performance tools do not support virtual GPUs (vGPUs), highlighting the need for more advanced tools.

Interconnection between Inflammation, Epigenetics and Nutrition in Cancer
Inflammation is a key contributor to both the initiation and progression of tumors, and it can be triggered by genetic instability within tumors, as well as by lifestyle and dietary factors. The inflammatory response plays a critical role in the genetic and epigenetic reprogramming of tumor cells, as well as in the cells that comprise the tumor microenvironment. Cells in the microenvironment acquire a phenotype that promotes immune evasion, progression, and metastasis.

Commonsense-Guided Inductive Relation Prediction with Dual Attention Mechanism
Inductive relationship prediction for knowledge graphs, as an important research topic, aims to predict missing relationships between unknown entities and many practical applications. Most of the existing approaches to this problem use closed subgraphs to extract features of target nodes for prediction; however, there is a tendency to ignore neighboring relationships outside the closed subgraphs, which leads to inaccurate predictions. In addition, they ignore the rich commonsense information that can help filter out less compelling results.

Intermediate-Temperature Embrittlement of Metals and Alloys
The intermediate-temperature embrittlement range was examined for Fe, Al, Cu, and Ni alloys. It was found that this embrittlement occurs in many alloys, although the causes are very diverse. Embrittlement can be due to fine matrix precipitation, precipitate free zones, melting of compounds at the grain boundaries, segregation of elements to the boundaries, and, additionally for steel, the presence of the soft ferrite film surrounding the harder austenite matrix. Grain boundary sliding and segregation to the boundaries seem to dominate the failure mode at the base of the trough when intergranular failure takes place. When cracking is due to the presence of hydrogen or liquid films at the boundary, then the dissociation along the boundaries is so easy, it is often independent of the strain rate and is always intergranular.

Application of
Staphylococcus aureus
Vaccines
Staphylococcus aureus, a prevalent human pathogen and a leading cause of hospital-acquired infections, is increasingly evolving antibiotic-resistant strains, increasing mortality and morbidity rates. Anti-staphylococcal vaccine research for prevention and treatment has become a priority. Antibodies against specific S. aureus components, toxins, and polysaccharides have demonstrated encouraging results in animal studies regarding protection against colonization or infection. However, human immunization trials have yielded less optimistic outcomes, with no anti-staphylococcal having passed clinical trials up to now. Although multiple formulation attempts triggered strong antibody responses, the vaccines could not effectively prevent S. aureus infections.

Pharmacological Properties of Gentiopicroside
In Vivo
Gentiopicroside (GPS) is a leading component of several plant species from the Gentianaceae botanical family. As a compound with plenty of biological activities and a component of herbal drugs, GPS has an important role in the regulation of physiological processes in humans. The results of recently published scientific studies underline a meaningful role of this molecule as an active factor in metabolic pathways and mechanisms, which may have an influence in the treatment of different diseases, including digestive tract disorders, malignant changes, neurological disorders, microbial infections, bone formation disorders, inflammatory conditions, and others.

Gut-Modulating Agents and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) is a highly fatal neurodegenerative disorder characterized by the progressive wasting and paralysis of voluntary muscle. Despite extensive research, the etiology of ALS remains elusive, and effective treatment options are limited. However, recent evidence implicates gut dysbiosis and gut–brain axis (GBA) dysfunction in ALS pathogenesis. Alterations to the composition and diversity of microbial communities within the gut flora have been consistently observed in ALS patients. These changes are often correlated with disease progression and patient outcome, suggesting that GBA modulation may have therapeutic potential.
