Application of AI Techniques for Predicting Weather Conditions
Artificial Intelligence is the area of computing that studies intelligent entities and tries, through various techniques, to teach the computer to perform activities that previously only intelligent entities could perform. There are several approaches and ways of doing this, and one of the most used is Artificial Neural Networks. This entry presents a study on techniques for using Artificial Intelligence. Furthermore, it presents two works that use Recurrent Neural Networks and LSTM to predict weather conditions, providing an analysis of the solution proposed in each approach and a comparison between them.

Performance Measures with IPV6
This document presents some tests carried out to measure performance in IPv6 networks. At the same time, it describes the use of a Tunnel Broker Client for IPv6, used to perform latency measurements, through the ping command, and route determination, through the tracerout command, for 5 Internet sites that are available both via IPv6 as well as IPv4. Additionally, includes the measurements obtained and a comparison of the results between IPv4 and IPv6, presenting explanations for the data obtained.

Blockchain in the Peer-to-Peer Energy Trades
Advancements in rooftop solar panel technology have sparked a revolution in the electricity markets. This has given rise to a new concept of energy exchange—the ability for consumers and producers to trade localized energy. This concept has been made possible by the emergence of blockchain technology, which has gained significant traction in the energy markets. Its unique ability to facilitate peer-to-peer (P2P) energy transactions has made it a promising solution for the trilemma of scalability, security, and decentralization.

Generative Adversarial Networks for Computer Vision Tasks
Computer vision tasks have gained a lot of popularity, accompanied by the development of numerous powerful architectures consistently delivering outstanding results when applied to well-annotated datasets. However, acquiring a high-quality dataset remains a challenge, particularly in sensitive domains like medical imaging, where expense and ethical concerns represent a challenge. Generative adversarial networks (GANs) offer a possible solution to artificially expand datasets, providing a basic resource for applications requiring large and diverse data.

Rack Locations in the Mobile-Rack Picking System
The flexible movement of racks in the mobile-rack picking system (MRPS) significantly improves the picking efficiency of e-commerce orders with the characteristics of “one order multi–items” and creates a challenging problem of how to place racks in the warehouse. This is because the placement of each rack in the MRPS directly influences the distance that racks need to be moved during order picking, which in turn affects the order picking efficiency.
