Recognition of Grasping Patterns for Human–Robot Collaboration
Recent advances in the field of collaborative robotics aim to endow industrial robots with prediction and anticipation abilities. In many shared tasks, the robot’s ability to accurately perceive and recognize the objects being manipulated by the human operator is crucial to make predictions about the operator’s intentions.

Impact of Innovation-Oriented Human Resource on Enterprises’ Performance
A successful human resource management (HRM) system is necessary for any business organization to manage its human resources effectively. In order to retain, attract, and add to shareholder value, the implementation of innovative HRM practices is needed. Productive staff retention issues continue to place stress on SME business organizations. Furthermore, turnover costs, i.e., costs related to recruitment and training have become a pressing management concern. Comprehensive research is required to identify key innovative HRM practices that can boost firm performance and employee satisfaction.

Image-Based Malware Detection
Image conversion of malicious binaries, or binary visualisation, is a relevant approach in the security community. It has exceeded the role of a single-file malware analysis tool and has become a part of Intrusion Detection Systems (IDSs) thanks to the adoption of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs).

XR, Vision Impairments and Empathy
Across the world, an increasing number of people experience vision impairments or blindness. For people with healthy eyes, it may be difficult to discern how the world looks to a person with impaired eyesight. Medical explanations in books and articles, descriptions from patients, and 2D images of impaired vision are often insufficient to communicate the negative effects of vision impairments and to truly make someone understand how the world looks through the eyes of a visually impaired person. Relatives, employers, and even the medical providers of those impacted by eye diseases may benefit from simulations of vision impairments, to increase understanding, sympathy, and empathy. Research on digital vision-impairment simulations has increased. With the rise of emerging technologies such as extended reality (XR), simulations can now be made more realistic and immersive than ever before. This document provides a comprehensive overview of the state-of-the-art in simulating vision impairments using a variety of hardware and software solutions that address different conditions and impairments. It also discusses the role of XR solutions in increasing sympathy and empathy for people with vision impairments.

Business Purchase Prediction Based on Artificial Intelligence
An architecture of a machine learning time series prediction system for business purchase prediction based on neural networks and enhanced with Explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) techniques is proposed. The architecture is implemented on an example of a system for predicting the following purchases for time series using Long short-term memory (LSTM) neural networks and Shapley additive explanations (SHAP) values. Explanations generated by the XAI module are provided with the prediction results to the user to allow them to understand the system’s decisions.

Counterfeit Attack Modes in Microelectronics
As the global supply chain grows more intricate and the prevalence of counterfeit components surges, it becomes paramount to verify the authenticity of electrical chips. The infiltration of counterfeit components, potentially finding their way into electronic equipment, raises concerns as workers contend with mounting client demands. Microelectronics are vital to the healthcare and defense industries, making them vulnerable to counterfeit products.

Data Modifications in Blockchain Architecture
Due to the immutability of blockchain, the integration with big-data systems creates limitations on redundancy, scalability, cost, and latency. Additionally, large amounts of invaluable data result in the waste of energy and storage resources. As a result, the demand for data deletion possibilities in blockchain has risen.

Heart Rate Variability towards Noninvasive Glucose Measurement
Heart rate variability (HRV) is defined by the heart rate variations caused by the periodic change of heart rhythm over time in the absence of physiological activity, postural changes, and emotional stimuli. This labels HRV as a noninvasive marker of the autonomic nervous system (ANS) function. Heart rate variability (HRV) parameters can reveal the performance of the autonomic nervous system and possibly estimate the type of its malfunction, such as that of detecting the blood glucose level.
