Synthetic Applications of Lawesson’s Reagent in Organic Synthesis
Lawesson’s reagent (LR) is a well-known classic example of a compound with unique construction and unusual chemical behavior, with a wide range of applications in synthetic organic chemistry. Its main functions were rounded for the thionation of various carbonyl groups in the early days. Now its use can help the chemistry community to understand innovative ideas. These include constructing biologically valuable heterocycles, coupling reactions, and the thionation of natural compounds.

Synthetic Antimicrobial Agents for Textile Finishing
Textiles with antimicrobial functionality have been intensively and extensively investigated in the recent decades, mostly because they are present in everyday life in various applications: medicine and healthcare, sportswear, clothing and footwear, furniture and upholstery, air and water purification systems, food packaging etc. Their ability to kill or limit the growth of the microbial population in a certain context defines their activity against bacteria, fungi, and viruses, and even against the initial formation of the biofilm prior to microorganisms’ proliferation. Various classes of antimicrobials have been employed for these highly specialized textiles, namely, organic synthetic reagents and polymers, metals and metal oxides (micro- and nanoparticles), and natural and naturally derived compounds, and their activity and range of applications are critically assessed.

Synthesis Strategies for Dual-Emissive Carbon Dots
Tuning the optical properties of carbon dots (CDs) and figuring out the mechanisms underneath the emissive phenomena have been one of the most cutting-edge topics in the development of carbon-based nanomaterials. Dual-emissive CDs possess the intrinsic dual-emission character upon single-wavelength excitation, which significantly benefits their multi-purpose applications.

Synthesis Procedures of Porphyrin-Based Metal–Organic Frameworks
Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs)—typically formed from metal ions/clusters bridged by multidentate ligands in an extended framework—have provided solutions to tackle challenges in areas such as catalysis. By either integrating porphyrins/metalloporphyrins inside pores freely in situ or by grafting on the surface using post-synthetic methods and/or as part of the network component, porphyrin-based MOFs could be easily constructed.

Synthesis of β-Lactams
Stereoselective synthesis of cis and trans β-lactams under diverse conditions is performed.  Numerous conditions are used for this study. The formation of β-lactam depends on the conditions of the experiments, structures of the imines and acid chlorides, order of addition of the reagents, reaction temperature, and solvents. A few mathematical graphs are plotted to explain the results.

Synthesis of TiO2 at the Industrial Level
Among a diverse range of dense mineral reserves found across the world, only ilmenite and rutile ores are capable of yielding titanium compounds, specifically titanium dioxide, through industrial processes. Although ilmenite and rutile are extensively used to extract TiO2 at the industrial level, through the sulphate and chloride processes, they can also be recognized to possess the potential to be employed as the raw material to synthesize other titanium compounds as well. Since titanium containing compounds possess the capability to be applied in numerous applications, such as environmental remediation, energy technologies, the pharmaceutical industry, paint industry and textile industry, exploration of the ability of these ore materials to yield titanium species is highly significant in the field of research as well as the industrial sector.
