System Theory of Corporate Sustainability
In response to the prevailing sustainability problems that are difficult to solve since they are characterized by complex interdependencies, and the effort to solve one aspect of a sustainability problem may lead to other problems, an interim, system-based theory of corporate sustainability to fill in significant gaps in the corporate sustainability field is developed. The full-blown theory helps the researchers to comprehend, describe and predict situations, behavioral actions and/or context. It guides the researchers to either go against orthodoxy or to continue with it to enrich the current knowledge domain.

Mac OS Memory Management
Historically, the classic Mac OS used a form of memory management that has fallen out of favor in modern systems. Criticism of this approach was one of the key areas addressed by the change to Mac OS X. The original problem for the engineers of the Macintosh was how to make optimum use of the 128 KB of RAM with which the machine was equipped, on Motorola 68000-based computer hardware that did not support virtual memory. Since at that time the machine could only run one application program at a time, and there was no fixed secondary storage, the engineers implemented a simple scheme which worked well with those particular constraints. That design choice did not scale well with the development of the machine, creating various difficulties for both programmers and users.

Corporate Social Responsibility Preferences in South Africa
A firm’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) approach can encompass a wide variety of activities. These may include philanthropy (donating to charities), volunteering by employees, ethical labor practices, and implementing environmentally friendly operations. Diverse stakeholders and nationalities may view certain social initiatives as less or more important than others. As a result, firms respond by prioritizing those CSR activities that stakeholders in their operating environment consider important. This leads to firms having CSR preferences for some social and environmental activities over others. Traditionally, CSR in South Africa was delivered through corporate social investment (CSI): a philanthropic effort with firms implementing their social responsibility through charitable donations targeted at the education and healthcare of a firm’s surrounding communities.

Understanding Hotel Service Failures
Service failure is inevitable. Service in the hospitality industry involves multiple interactions between the service providers and customers, and a high risk of service failures accompanies these interactions. Although empirical studies on the outcomes and processes of service failures have been conducted in the hotel industry, the findings need more exploration to understand how different segments perceive service failures and the associated emotions differently. This study revealed the similarities and differences between groups (i.e., men vs. women and leisure vs. business) in reporting service failures. Different meanings of words that emerged from the text-mining results were also examined to ensure a more comprehensive understanding of the guest experience.
