Cancer Metastasis Detection via Effective Contrastive Learning
The metastasis detection in lymph nodes via microscopic examination of H&E stained histopathological images is one of the most crucial diagnostic procedures for breast cancer staging. The manual analysis is extremely labor-intensive and time-consuming because of complexities and diversities of histopathological images. Deep learning has been utilized in automatic cancer metastasis detection in recent years. The success of supervised deep learning is credited to a large labeled dataset, which is hard to obtain in medical image analysis. Contrastive learning, a branch of self-supervised learning, can help in this aspect through introducing an advanced strategy to learn discriminative feature representations from unlabeled images.

Intelligent Deep Learning in IoT Smart Home Networks
The Internet of Things (IoT) is the interconnection of sensors, machines, objects, or other computing devices over the internet to communicate with the least human interference. Specific types of sensors are involved in obtaining information from physical entities, and after analysis, it is stored in local storage, which is then sent to cloud storage, where appropriate action is taken according to the information.

Federated Learning and Blockchain Applications in Vehicular Networks
The Internet of Things (IoT) revitalizes the world with tremendous capabilities and potential to be utilized in vehicular networks. The Smart Transport Infrastructure (STI) era depends mainly on the IoT. Advanced machine learning (ML) techniques are being used to strengthen the STI smartness further. However, some decisions are very challenging due to the vast number of STI components and big data generated from STIs. Computation cost, communication overheads, and privacy issues are significant concerns for wide-scale ML adoption within STI. These issues can be addressed using Federated Learning (FL) and blockchain. FL can be used to address the issues of privacy preservation and handling big data generated in STI management and control. Blockchain is a distributed ledger that can store data while providing trust and integrity assurance. Blockchain can be a solution to data integrity and can add more security to the STI.  While transmitting data, valuable information can be disclosed through the model parameters by reverse engineering. The disclosure of valuable data motivated researchers and developers to adopt known security and privacy defense methods, e.g., functional encryption and differential privacy, to FL.

Autism with Optimized Machine Learning Models
Early diagnosis of autism is extremely beneficial for patients. Traditional diagnosis approaches have been unable to diagnose autism in a fast and accurate way; rather, there are multiple factors that can be related to identifying the autism disorder. The gene expression (GE) of individuals may be one of these factors, in addition to personal and behavioral characteristics (PBC). Machine learning (ML) based on PBC and GE data analytics emphasizes the need to develop accurate prediction models. The quality of prediction relies on the accuracy of the ML model. To improve the accuracy of prediction, optimized feature selection algorithms are applied to solve the high dimensionality problem of the datasets used. Comparing different optimized feature selection methods using bio-inspired algorithms over different types of data can allow for the most accurate model to be identified.

Compensation of Pressure Sensor Drifts
Pressure sensor chips embodied in very tiny packages are deployed in a wide range of advanced applications. Examples of them range from industrial to altitude location services. They are also becoming increasingly pervasive in many other fields, ranging from industrial to military to consumer. However, these sensors, which are very cheap to manufacture in silicon, are strongly affected by thermal, mechanical and environmental stresses, which ultimately affect their measurement accuracy in the form of variations in gain, hysteresis, and nonlinear responses. To compensate induced drift in measurements, several neural networks were devised and be applied to stresses caused by two thermal cycles: 260 C for 10-40 seconds (JEDEC soldering procedure) and 100 C for two hours. These models were characterized in accuracy and deployability on tiny embedded devices and improved accuracy was observed.

Malicious Social Network Messages
The primary methods of communication in the modern world are social networks, which are rife with harmful messages that can injure both psychologically and financially. Most websites do not offer services that automatically delete or send malicious communications back to the sender for correction, or notify the sender of inaccuracies in the content of the messages. The deployment of such systems could make use of techniques for identifying and categorizing harmful messages.

Global Trends in Cancer Nanotechnology
This study presents a new way to investigate comprehensive trends in cancer nanotechnology research in different countries, institutions, and journals providing critical insights to prevention, diagnosis, and therapy. This paper applies the qualitative method of bibliometric analysis on cancer nanotechnology using the PubMed database during the years 2000-2021. Inspired by hybrid medical models and content-based and bibliometric features for machine learning models, our results show cancer nanotechnology studies have expanded exponentially since 2010. The highest production of articles in cancer nanotechnology is mainly from US institutions, with several countries notably the USA, China, UK, India, and Iran as concentrated focal points as centers of cancer nanotechnology research, especially in the last five years. The analysis shows the greatest overlap between nanotechnology and DNA, RNA, iron oxide or mesoporous silica, breast cancer, and cancer diagnosis and cancer treatment. Moreover, more than 50% of information related to the keywords, authors, institutions, journals, and countries are considerably investigated in the form of publications from the top 100 journals. This study has the potentials to provide past and current lines of research that can unmask comprehensive trends in cancer nanotechnology, key research topics, or pmost productive countries and authors in the field.
