Influence of 3D Printing Parameters on FFF Prints
The advancement in 3D printing techniques has raised the hope to use additively manufactured parts as final products in various industries. Due to the layer-by-layer nature of AM parts, they are highly susceptible to failure when they are subjected to fatigue loading. This entry provides a detailed account of the influence of 3D printing parameters on the fatigue properties of parts manufactured by fused filament fabrication (FFF). Existing standards for fatigue testing of polymers and their limitation for 3D-printed parts are discussed. In addition, the cyclic behaviour of polymers is reviewed, and the impact of 3D printing parameters on the mechanical behaviour of FFF parts under tensile, compressive, flexural, and bending fatigue is investigated according to the published results in the literature. Finally, a summary of the works undertaken and suggestions for future research are provided. The influence of 3D printing parameters on the fatigue performance of prints can be different from that seen in the case of static loading and strongly depends on the fatigue loading type. While cross-over infill patterns, higher infill density, and higher layer height favour achieving higher fatigue strength in all loading types, raster orientation is best to be aligned parallel to the tensile loads and perpendicular to the compressive, flexural, and bending forces. In the case of tensile and flexural loading, Y build orientation yields the best result. Finally, print velocity was found to be less significant compared to other parameters, implying that it can be set at high values for faster printing.

Phase Change Materials-Incorporated Glazing Units
The building envelope provides thermal comfort, an excellent visual view, and sunlight for the occupants. It consists of two parts: (i) opaque (non-transparent) part (e.g., walls and roofs) and (ii) transparent part (e.g., windows, curtain walls, and skylight devices). Recently, the use of fully-glazed facades, especially in large cities, has been increased due to their aesthetical and structural advantages. Phase Change Materials (PCMs) as latent energy storage material is the focus of this research, as well as other individual and combined techniques, including shading systems, solar cells (photovoltaic), and chromogenic (thermotropic and thermochromic) materials. PCM-integrated glazing systems have been extensively studied and rapidly developed over the past several decades from the standpoint of unique system designs, such as passive, active, and passive/active mixed designs, intelligent management, and sophisticated controls. In the academic literature, numerous studies on PCM-integrated building envelopes have been conducted, a comprehensive review of PCM-integrated GUs combined with other passive and active techniques using dialectical analysis and comparing the climatic conditions of each study using Köppen-Geiger climate classification climate classification has been performed only rarely. Consequently, the primary objective of this research is to reduce this discrepancy for all types of glazing, excluding glazed roofs.

In general, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) have a high vapor pressure at room temperature (RT). It has been reported that all humans generate unique VOC profiles in their exhaled breath which can be utilized as biomarkers to diagnose disease conditions. The aforementioned discussions show that the human breath contains a variety of VOCs that serve as biomarkers for various diseases and metabolic problems. Therefore, the real-time monitoring of such VOCs in the exhaled human breath is highly essential to enable non-invasive illness detection. A detailed discussion has been carried out to understand various techniques developed to detect VOCs in very low concentrations of part per million volumes (ppmv), part per billion volumes (ppbv), and part per trillion volumes (pptv).

Catalytic Performance of MoVNbTeOx for ODHE
Ethylene is mainly produced by steam cracking of naphtha or light alkanes in the petrochemical industry. However, the high-temperature operation results in high energy demands, high cost of gas separation, and huge CO2 emissions. With the growth of the verified shale gas reserves, oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane (ODHE) becomes a promising process to convert ethane from underutilized shale gas reserves to ethylene at a moderate reaction temperature. Among the catalysts for ODHE, MoVNbTeOx mixed oxide has exhibited superior catalytic performance in terms of ethane conversion, ethylene selectivity, and/or yield. Accordingly, the process design is compact, and the economic evaluation is more favorable in comparison to the mature steam cracking processes.
