Anterior Knee Displacement during Different Barbell Squat Techniques
Based on seminal research from the 1970s and 1980s, the myth that the knees should only move as far anterior during the barbell squat until they vertically align with the tips of the feet in the sagittal plane still exists. However, the role of both the hip joint and the lumbar spine, which are exposed to high peak torques during this deliberate restriction in range of motion, has remained largely unnoticed in the traditional literature. More recent anthropometric and biomechanical studies have found disparate results regarding anterior knee displacement during barbell squatting. For a large number of athletes, it may be favorable or even necessary to allow a certain degree of anterior knee displacement in order to achieve optimal training outcomes and minimize the biomechanical stress imparted on the lumbar spine and hip. Overall, restricting this natural movement is likely not an effective strategy for healthy trained individuals.

Development of Vibrio cholerae Candidate Vaccine Strain
Approximately 1/6 of humanity is at high risk of experiencing cholera epidemics. Therefore, сholera epidemics and outbreaks represent one of the global health threats. Vaccination is an effective global health measure to prevent cholera epidemics. There is a need for the development of more effective, stable, and safe vaccines against cholera. We describe a strategy to genetically engineer a nontoxigenic natural Vibrio cholerae strain to develop a genetically stable and relatively safe candidate vaccine strain. Our approach is applicable for developing vaccine strains against cholera and other important human pathogens.

Microbiological Laboratory Diagnosis of Human Brucellosis
Brucella spp. are Gram-negative, non-motile, non-spore-forming, slow-growing, facultative intracellular bacteria causing brucellosis. Brucellosis is an endemic of specific geographic areas and, although underreported, represents the most common zoonotic infection, with an annual global incidence of 500,000 cases among humans.

Canine Coronavirus
Canine coronavirus (CCoV) is a positive-strand RNA virus generally responsible for mild-to-severe gastroenteritis in dogs. In recent years, new CCoVs with acquired pathogenic characteristics have emerged, turning the spotlight on the evolutionary potential of CCoVs.

Single-Cell RNA Sequencing in Immunology
The immune system comprises many immune cells, including innate and adaptive immune cells. These cells are critical for protecting the host from injuries, infection, and carcinogenesis (i.e., immune surveillance). Improvements in technologies such as microscopy and flow cytometry have accelerated the classification of immune cells. Nevertheless, these methods still have some limitations. The immune system’s complexity, including the heterogeneity, development, differentiation, and microenvironment of immune cells in health and disease, cannot be fully understood using classical theories. A deeper inspection of immunology yields improved immune therapies using advanced technologies. The emergence of single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) can revolutionize our understanding of immunology and break through the bottlenecks in immunology.

Public Health Concerns Related to Pesticide Exposure
One of the major issues related to food safety is the lack of globally harmonized pesticide legislation and safety standards. Pesticide maximum residue levels (MRLs) in foods and feeds significantly differ, especially among developed and developing countries. The differences in regulations also cause trade issues since many developing countries use unauthorized pesticides or different MRLs.

Development of Intrapersonal Intelligence
Intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligence are two of the eight multiple intelligences that Gardner describes. The first of them refers to an individual’s ability to understand themselves, their emotions, motivations, strengths, weaknesses, and thoughts. This intelligence also includes the ability to think about oneself and recognize how actions and decisions affect others.

Lasers and Desensitizing Agents in Dentinal Hypersensitivity Therapy
Lasers represent a means of treating dentin hypersensitivity, used alone and/or in conjunction with specific products for the treatment of such a pathology. The selected articles that examined diode lasers were divided according to the wattage (w) used: low-level laser therapy protocols, i.e., those using a wattage of less than 1 W, and high-level laser therapy protocols, i.e., those using a wattage of 1 W or more. Laser therapy was found to be effective in the treatment of dentin hypersensitivity. However, the level of effectiveness depends on the laser used. Both the Nd: YAG laser and the diode laser (high and low power) are effective in the treatment of dentin hypersensitivity. However, the high-power laser appears to be more effective in combination with fluoride varnish and the Nd: YAG laser achieved greater long-term benefits than the diode laser.

Dietary Interventions in Adults with Depression
Dietary interventions may reduce depression levels with positive outcomes. There is a positive result for diets that promote an increased intake of fresh produce, wholegrains, low-fat dairy and lean protein sources, while also decreasing the intake of processed and high-fat foods.
