On April 29, 2011, Great Britain’s Prince William married his longtime girlfriend Catherine Elizabeth “Kate” Middleton at Westminster Abbey in London.  The wedding was a blend of traditional and contemporary elements, combining royal pomp and pageantry with personal touches.
