Video Introduction

Generally, most animal poop is shaped like a sausage or a snake. However, did you know that there is an animal whose poop is shaped like a cube? That animal is the wombat, a herbivorous Australian marsupial with the distinctive feature of producing cubic feces, which is unique in the animal kingdom.

Wombats are known for producing distinctive cuboid poop, and some researchers believe they tactically disperse these feces in order to communicate with each other. [1][2]
