Vestibular Assessment and Rehabilitation in the Operational Environment
The vestibular system, comprised of the semicircular canals, otolith organs, and eighth cranial nerves in the peripheral system, and the brainstem, brain, and cerebellum in the central system, is essential for gaze and postural stability. It allows service members to keep their eyes fixed on a target while their head is moving, and additionally contributes to the maintenance of balance. Evaluation of the vestibular system requires a systematic assessment of the visual, vestibular, and balance systems; technology can aid in this assessment. While technology can assist physical and occupational therapists in performing vestibular assessment and rehabilitation, not all such technologies are conducive to delivery of healthcare in an operational environment. In this context, the environment is characterized by the presence of extreme conditions and constrained resource availability.

Skull Vibration-Induced Nystagmus in Superior Semicircular Canal Dehiscence
The third window syndrome, often associated with the Tullio phenomenon, is most often observed in patients with a superior semicircular-canal dehiscence (SCD) but is not specific to this pathology. Clinical and vestibular tests suggestive of this pathology are not always concomitantly observed and have been complemented by the skull-vibration-induced nystagmus test, which constitutes a bone-conducted Tullio phenomenon (BCTP).

p16 Expression in Laryngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma
Laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) is a common malignancy that, despite scientific advancements, has not seen an improvement in its prognosis. Few promising predictive markers have been found and none are relevant in clinical practice. p16ink4a, an oncosuppressor protein involved in cell cycle arrest, with a prognostic impact on other cancers, has been widely used in the head and neck region as a surrogate marker of HPV infection. Published papers and meta-analyses seem to minimize the biological role of HPV in the context of LSCC’s cancerogenesis, and to disprove the reliability of p16ink4a as a surrogate prognostic marker in this context, while still highlighting its potential role as an independent predictor of survival.

Allergic Rhinitis in Children: Impact on Sleep Quality
Through this study, we propose to study the impact of allergic rhinitis and its treatment on children’s sleep quality. We conducted a prospective longitudinal study conducted at the ENT department of the military hospital in Tunis during the period from 2019 to 2021, including children with confirmed allergic rhinitis and aged from 4 to 16 years. The sleep assessment was judged according to Spruyt Gozal’s questionnaire and Epworth’s sleepiness scale. One hundred patients were included in our study with an average of 9.09 years. The main symptom was nasal obstruction and a common allergen was mites. Half of patients have excessive daytime sleepiness. The score of Spruyt Gozal showed that 60% of children have respiratory sleep disorders. An obstructif sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) was confirmed in 40% of them. Sleep quality impairment was more pronounced in children with moderate to severe RA with a statistically significant difference (p<0.05) and a statistically significant link between elevated sleep quality scores and asthma and obesity. AR constitutes a significant public health concern in children, notably due to its detrimental effects on sleep quality. Given its potential repercussions on cognitive development, behavior, and quality of life, it is essential that clinicians systematically investigate sleep disturbances in all pediatric patients presenting with AR.
