Understanding Science Teachers’ Implementations of Integrated STEM
Science teachers generally have a positive attitude towards using STEM-based activities. In addition, data revealed that participants implement integrated STEM into their teaching frequently and regularly. Results also indicated teachers encounter challenges while implementing STEM: documentation, the vast curriculum content, and lack of time. Moreover, external challenges (i.e., the lack of supportive guidelines) rather than teachers’ competency (i.e., having sufficient knowledge and skills for implementing STEM teaching) appeared to have the highest impending impact.

Language teachers struggle to shift from monolingual ideologies and pedagogical practices, as advocated for in the promotion of multilingualism and inclusive pedagogy. Additionally, the role of English as a multilingua franca pushes English teachers to rethink their beliefs about the language and its use. Even when positive about multilingualism, teachers are often uncertain of how to address the complexities of multilingual ideals due to varying contextual factors and a lack of practical knowledge and skills. Teacher burnout refers to a fatigue syndrome consisting of three dimensions: emotional exhaustion, reduced personal accomplishment, and depersonalization, which are generated by the long−term work stress of the teacher group. Emotional exhaustion is defined as the individual’s extremely emotional and affective fatigue under extreme stress; reduced personal accomplishment is defined as the individual’s low value and meaningful assessment of self; and depersonalization is defined as the individual’s negative and insensitive attitude toward students. Teacher burnout is a typical behavioral symptom of teachers’ low job satisfaction, decreased enthusiasm for and loss of interest in work, and emotional detachment and indifference as a result of long−term stress at work.

Using Learning Gain to Evaluate Undergraduate Business Education
During the COVID-19 pandemic, universities across the globe replaced in-person teaching, with online teaching, because of widespread campus shutdowns. Through the application of a pre-existing learning gain model, it was possible to review the learning of one cohort of students receiving in-person teaching, and then the next cohort of students on the same course receiving the online teaching. Overall, a drop in perceived learning was reported from the cohort of students receiving online teaching. For female students, the most significant drop in learning related to practical understanding, whereas for male students, the most significant drop in learning related to theoretical knowledge.
