With an estimated population of fewer than 250 individuals, Darwin's Fox faces numerous threats, including habitat fragmentation, predation by introduced species such as feral dogs and foxes, and susceptibility to disease. Conservation efforts focus on habitat protection, captive breeding programs, and community engagement to mitigate threats and ensure the survival of this critically endangered species in its natural habitat.
