1. Experience

• R. Kalirajan has 23 years of teaching and research experience. Currently he is working as an Associate professor at JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty under JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (Deemed to be University), Mysuru since July, 2006.
• Before joining this institution, he worked as an professor at Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Pharmacy, Srivilliputtur, Tamilnadu from June, 2003 to June 2006 and also worked as an Asst. professor at S.Chattanatha Karayalar College of Pharmacy, Tenkasi, Tamilnadu from June, 1999 to June 2003.
• He has completed his D in the year 2013 and he is an approved guide for Ph.D under JSS AHER, Mysuru. Currently he is guiding four Research scholars.
• He has completed his Pharm in the year 1997 at Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Pharmacy, Srivilliputtur, M.Pharm in the year 1999 at KM College of Pharmacy, Madurai
• He has Qualified in GATE 1997.
• He has nominated as member in Board of studies in Karpagam Academy of Higher Education- Deemed to be University Coimbatore, Tamilnadu and also in Amrita School of pharmacy in Amrita vishwa vidhyapeetam university, Coimbatore.
• Published 85 research papers with Impact paper range 1 to 6.5 and has 640 citations a H-index 15 for his publications by Scopus. Also has 1270 citations and H-Index 20 by Google scholar
• Presented many research papers in various national seminars and also some international conferences at Dubai and Thailand.
• Published 09 books by Al med publication, India, JSSCP, ooty and Lap Lambert publishing company, Germany.
• 14.35 lakhs Received from MHRD and AICTE for Phase-II of Drug Discovery Hackathon for COVID-19 Drug discovery, entitled “Optimization, design and synthesis of novel lead molecules against multiple targets of SARS CoV-2” in the year 2021.
• Received 14 lakhs research grant from AICTE under RPS scheme as co-investigator for his Ph.D research work in the year 2011..
• Received 03 lakhs grant from AICTE under STTP scheme for conducting Short term Training programme in the year 2020.
• Organized many national and international seminars, workshops, conferences as organizing secretary and organizing committee member, sponsored by ICMR, CSIR, DST, AICTE and JSS University etc. and Received 50,000/- from DST, Rs.50,000/- from CSIR, Rs.40,000/- from ICMR, Rs.75,000/- & Rs.30,000/- from JSS University for organizing seminar/workshop as organizing secretary.
• Received Rs 1 lakh cash prize as a winner in Drug Discovery Hackathon for COVID-19 Drug discovery, which is a joint initiative of AICTE, CSIR, Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell and supported by Office of Principal Scientific Advisor, Govt. of India, NIC and MyGov.
• Received Outstanding Scientist Award in 12^th International Scientist Award on Engineering, science and Medicine at Visakapatnam in Nov 2020.
• Received Best citizen of India Award by from Global Economic Progress & Research Association (GEPRA), NewDelhi in January 2020.
• Received Best innovation & Research in Healthcare Award from Karnataka excellence awards-2021 by VCPEM trust, at Bengaluru in November 2021.
• Received Best Teacher Award -2022 from JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, JSS College of Pharmacy, ooty
• Received Research Grant Receiver Award-2021-22 from JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, JSS College of Pharmacy, ooty
• Received Eminent Researcher Award from Operant Pharmacy federation on 2-4-22 at Indore

• Serving as an editorial board member and as a reviewer for peer reviewed and reputed national and international journals.
