Video Introduction

Virtual travel can be understood as a way to enhance tourism experiences or an alternative type of tourism. Despite initial distrust, virtual experiences have been found to lead to the same levels of emotions, attitudes, and behavioral intentions that physical travel has. These experiences may not be a replacement for physical travel, but they can be viewed instead as “another form” of travel rather than merely a substitute.
