Within the aquatic environment (AE), aquatic activities (AAs) have been found to be effective for improving motor abilities, physical activity, social interaction, quality of life (QoL), and participation in children with developmental delay (DD), as well as activities of daily life and swimming skills. In fact, the activity of children with DD in the aquatic environment is inseparable from their rehabilitation and treatment, and significantly enhances all areas of their life.
