1. Early life & Education

Dr. (Prof.) Abhyudaya Verma is an Indian endocrinologist and the founder of Superspeciality Endocrinology & Women cAre centre (SEWA), Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. Dr. (Prof.) Abhyudaya Verma was born in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He pursued his MBBS from M. S. Ramaiah Medical College (MSRMC), Bangalore in 1999 thereafter completed his MD (General Medicine) from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bengaluru in 2005. He also completed his DNB (Endocrinology) from Medwin Hospital, Hyderabad in 2006-2008. He has also completed training in Endocrine from Department of Endocrinology & Metabolism of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi in 2009-2010.

He is an elected Fellow of American College of Endocrinology (FACE) in 2018.

2. Career

Before starting Superspeciality Endocrinology & Women cAre centre (SEWA), Indore in 2009. He associated with National Institute of Nutrition (ICMR) Hyderabad, Department of Endocrinology, Indraprastha Apollo hospitals, New Delhi and also served as consulting endocrinologist at Shalby Hospital, Indore and Greater Kailash Hospital, Indore. He also served as Professor of Medicine, Index Medical College, Indore

Currently he is also serving as Associate Professor of Endocrinology, Index Medical College, Indore and External examiner for DNB Medicine and M.B.B.S.
He has published more than 30 national and international medical publications in indexed journals on topics related to diabetes, thyroid, bones, obesity, pediatric & female hormone disorders.

He is also reviewer of various Indian and International Journals. He is an American Diabetes Association certified speaker and has delivered lectures in various international, national and state level CMEs.

He also hold past positions in Diabetes Association of India, Indore chapter as Secretary (2012-2015), Association of Physicians, Indore chapter as Clinical Secretary (2015-2017), IMA Indore chapter as Clinical Secretary (2013). He is also an active member of Endocrinology Society of USA, RSSDI, Endocrine Society of India, Indian Thyroid Society, Indian Medical Association, Association of Physicians of India and various other elite institutions.

3. Contribution to Endocrinology

Dr. Verma has made significant contributions to the field of endocrinology in India. He has authored several research papers in various national and international journals, and his work has been cited extensively by researchers and clinicians worldwide. His research interests include diabetes, obesity, thyroid disorders, and reproductive endocrinology.

Dr. Verma has also been actively involved in educating medical students, residents, and fellows in the field of endocrinology. He has conducted numerous workshops and conferences on endocrinology, both nationally and internationally, and has served as a mentor to several young endocrinologists in India.

4. Awards

He was awarded with Dr. S.K. Khanijo IMA MP State Oration Award in 2018. He was also awarded by multiple organizations for his contribution to medical field.Dr. Verma has received several awards and honors for his contribution to the field of endocrinology. He has been recognized by the Indian Medical Association and the Endocrine Society of India for his outstanding contribution to patient care and research in the field of endocrinology. He has also been invited to deliver lectures and keynote speeches at various national and international conferences.
