Video Introduction

This video is adapted from 10.3390/ijms241310899

The circulation is a closed system that has been assumed to be free from bacteria, but evidence for the existence of a low-density blood microbiota is accumulating. The blood microbiota had a surprisingly high proportion of Proteobacteria in comparison with human oral and colonic microbiotas.
