In this video I talk about the idea of Knot Theory in the Mathematical field of Topology and its relation to Quantum Mechanics. In Mathematics a knot is an embedding of the circle S^1 into three dimensional Euclidean space, R^3. While in quantum physics, a knot may be regarded as the orbit in spacetime of a charged particle.
