Glucosamine sulfate is widely used as a dietary supplement for joint health. While different salt forms of glucosamine are commercially available, it remains unclear whether the formulation influences how the body absorbs and processes the compound. This pilot study investigated whether salt form matters by comparing the pharmacokinetics of crystalline and regular glucosamine sulfate in health volunteers.
