Quaraweight™is a term coined and created by Behaviorist and Research Analyst Greshun De Bouse to describe COVID-19-mandated-quarantine-induced weight gain.  De Bouse contends quaraweight is in evitable because of both psychological and physiological alterations of functionality normalcy. Pre-COVID-19, most individuals were acclimated to diem-a- diem routines inclusive of work commute, perhaps ushering or transporting offspring to school, and perhaps public socializing in restaurants or other establishments after work. Conversely, post-COVID-19 pandemic and relative routine alterations, persons are forced to mostly remain in the confines of their living quarters.  According to Gasque (2020) "Health experts are recommending that people stay home as much as possible to prevent the spread of COVID-19. But doing so could lead to another health problem: weight gain."
