Bacterial Leaf Scorch (BLS) is a plant disease caused by the bacterium Xylella fastidiosa. It affects a wide range of trees and crops by disrupting water and nutrient flow, leading to leaf browning, decline, and eventual plant death. The disease is particularly prevalent in warm, humid climates.
