3.1 Intelligent Autonomous Robot for Substation Inspection
Funding Agency: Tennessee Valley Authority, Principal Investigator ($650,000 2019~2023).
Design and develop an autonomous robot to perform substation inspection with no added navigation hardware to the substation.
3.2 Industry Sponsored Capstone Projects
Successfully completed over 100 capstone projects covering a variety of industrial needs (2005~2017)
3.3 Automated Prescription Verification System
Funding Agency: EconoGenesys, Principal Investigator ($100,000 2003).
Designed and developed a robot to perform automatic prescription inspection for mail order pharmacies.
3.3 Boiler Tube Leak Detection using Artificial Neural Networks
Funding Agency: Tennessee Valley Authority, Principal Investigator ($200K 1996~1999).
User tube leak sensitive variable and artificial neural networks to detect the presence of a boiler tube leak I real time.
3.4 Target Tracking
Funding Agency: NSWC, Principal Investigator ($1M 1988~1998).
Developed different target models and used sensor data fusion to improve track quality.
