1. Introduction

M.A. Hussein is a professor of Polymer Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry Lab, Chemistry Department, Faculty of Science, Assiut University (AU), Egypt. He obtained his PhD in Organic Polymer Synthesis from Assiut University, Egypt in 2007. He got a position at Chemistry Department, King Abdulaziz University (KAU), Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from 2010 – till now. He got a postdoctoral position in the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, France and University Sains Malaysia, Malaysia. He visited the school of Industrial technology, University Sains Malaysia and Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto (UP) as visiting researcher. He published +185 ISI papers and numerus number of conference papers (posters and oral). His research is designed to develop synthesized polymers for professional careers in polymer research as well as in the manufacturing industries. We try to cover the modern aspects of polymers, including: polymer synthesis, physics, properties, characterization and processing, with a number of up-dated facilities for modern research. Moreover, we try to enter the advanced technology related to functional polymer, high performance polymer, engineering plastics, polymer composites, etc. to solve the industrial problems in numerous fields.
