1. Brief Introduction:

Dr. Udhayakumar Kaithamalai is working as professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, Chennai, India. Beginning in August 2001, hHe has held positions at tbeen working in this University in a variety of capacities includingon various cadres viz. Teaching &and Research Associate, Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor (currently). He from the August 2001. He had a previously worked teaching experience for almost 1.5 yearsbout one and half year in 2000-2001 atfrom Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore, India.

He poissesses having expertise in a variety of disciplines related tothe diversified fields of Electrical and Electronics Engineering including Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, as well as viz, Control Systems, Smart Sensors, Instrumentation, Power engineering and , Micro Electro Mechanical Systems and in areas like Machine learning & Artificial Intelligence.

AloDuring the way of his professional careerjourney, he has undertaken on a variety of taskvarious assignments and responsibilities in the areas of rnot only academically but also in Research, aAdministration,n and in extension, and outreach at the ddomains in the Departmental and u and University levels, in addition to his academic responsibilities. From 2014 to 2018, h. He also worked for 8 years as the deputy dserved as a Deputy Director of Anna University'sin the Centre for University and Industry Collaboration of Anna University for 8 years from the year 2014 to 2018, where he workin he has collaborated with numerous businesses to help with CSR projects, skill development, and job pvarious industries for the placement for uof University students. These partnerships have benefited m, Skill development, Career guidance and CSR initiatives. More than 15,5000 students, both have got benefitted either directly andor indirectly.
