Educational Interactions: Comparison
Please note this is a comparison between Version 1 by Catherine Yang and Version 2 by Catherine Yang.

Educational interactions are the reciprocal exchanges that occur among learners, teachers, peers, and learning resources during educational processes, through which meaning is constructed, understanding is negotiated, and learning is supported [1][2][3][4][1–4]. They include verbal, nonverbal, written, and technology-mediated communication in classrooms, online environments, and blended settings [1][2][1,2]. Educational interactions are characterized by intentionality (they are oriented to learning goals), responsiveness (participants adapt to one another’s contributions), and feedback (information is provided and used to guide subsequent action) [2][3][4][2–4]. In educational research, the term refers not only to social contact in learning environments but specifically to pedagogically relevant exchanges that influence engagement, participation, conceptual development, and achievement [1][2][3][4][1–4].
