Lina Dweirj was born in 1992. She finished PhD at Western Sydney University, Australia. Her research is titled "A Socio-Translation Approach to the Study of Metaphorical Nuances in Qur’anic Mutashabeh Verses," and explores theological, linguistic, and social dimensions within Qur’anic interpretation. Her areas of specialization include socio-translation and Qur’anic studies. She maintains an active interest in creative writing as a means of exploring themes related to faith, identity, and cultural expression. She has presented her research at international conferences, published scholarly articles, and actively engages in interdisciplinary collaborations bridging translation studies, theology, and cultural discourse across diverse academic communities.
