The Runway Method: History Edit

 The Runway method allows for an identification, interpretation and quantitative assessment of error sources causing degradation of the accuracy of discrete representation of a scalar field. Flat and homogeneous surface of runways or similar anthropogenic or natural surface are used as testbed.
