Professor Arduino A Mangoni: History

Professor Mangoni is Strategic Professor and Head of Clinical Pharmacology at Flinders University, and Senior Consultant in General Medicine and Clinical Pharmacology at Flinders Medical Centre, Southern Adelaide Local Health Network. He completed advanced training in Clinical Pharmacology, Cardiology and General (Internal) Medicine in Italy, USA and the UK. He has FRACP status in Clinical Pharmacology and General Medicine. Professor Mangoni was awarded a PhD in Pharmacology at King’s College, University of London, in 2003. He was appointed Senior Lecturer (2003-2007) and Associate Professor (2007-2009) in Clinical Pharmacology at Flinders University before taking up the Chair in Medicine of Old Age at the University of Aberdeen (2010-2012). In 2013, he was appointed Strategic Professor and Head of Clinical Pharmacology at Flinders University.
