Denoising Technique for CT Images
Denoising computed tomography (CT) medical images is crucial in preserving information and restoring images contaminated with noise. Standard filters have extensively been used for noise removal and fine details’ preservation. During the transmission of medical images, noise degrades the visibility of anatomical structures and subtle abnormalities, making it difficult for radiologists to accurately diagnose and interpret medical conditions.

Improved Feature Selection for Social Internet of Things
The Social Internet of Things (SIoT) ecosystem tends to process and analyze extensive data generated by users from both social networks and Internet of Things (IoT) systems and derives knowledge and diagnoses from all connected objects. To overcome many challenges in the SIoT system, such as big data management, analysis, and reporting, robust algorithms should be proposed and validated.

Effects of Digital Diet Control on Anti-Aging Healthcare
Diet management has long been an important practice in healthcare, enabling individuals to get an insight into their nutrient intake, prevent diseases, and stay healthy. Traditional methods based on self-reporting, food diaries, and periodic assessments have been used for a long time to control dietary habits. These methods have shown limitations in accuracy, compliance, and real-time analysis. The rapid advancement of digital technologies has revolutionized healthcare, including the diet control landscape, allowing for innovative solutions to control dietary patterns and generate accurate and personalized recommendations.

Resource Elasticity
Elasticity as the ability of a system to be able to add or remove computational resources during the use and processing of data, in order to adapt to workload variations in real time . These resources can be CPU cores, RAM memory, GPU, Virtual Machine instances (known as VM's), among others. Elasticity is a dynamic property of Cloud Computing. There are two types of elasticity in the literature: horizontal and vertical. Vertical elasticity consists of the system's ability to increase or decrease the characteristics of computational resources, such as CPU time, cores, memory and network. Horizontal elasticity consists of the system's ability to add or remove instances of computational resources associated with the application that uses them. This entry will describe the main classifications for elastic systems.

Ontological Modeling and Clustering Techniques for Service Allocation
In complex distributed IoT-based applications, multiple and heterogeneous IoT devices are deployed in a given environment. Those devices typically act as information input providers (e.g., sensor networks) or actuators. Edge computing arose as a solution to reduce the high demand for data traffic between IoT devices and the cloud that processes them. Moreover, several notions have been introduced to shape the gap between the cloud and edge, like fog or mist computing.

Standards for Health Data Systems
The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the necessity for agile health services that enable reliable and secure information exchange, but achieving proper, private, and secure sharing of electronic medical records (EMRs) remains a challenge due to diverse data formats and fragmented records across multiple data silos, resulting in hindered coordination between healthcare teams, potential medical errors, and delays in patient care.

The Existing Remote Sensing Index Resources
Remote sensing indices are widely used in various fields of geoscience research. However, there are limits to how effectively the knowledge of indices can be managed or analyzed. One of the main problems is the lack of ontology models and research on indices, which makes it difficult to acquire and update knowledge in this area.
